Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies

1: Combine flour, cocoa, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and cayenne in a large bowl.

2: In a standing mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy (about 3 mins). Add egg and vanilla, and mix until combined on medium speed.

3: On low speed, slowly add flour mixture until just combined, then add in chocolate and mix until combined.

4: Roll dough into balls and roll in turbinado sugar; place on greased baking sheet.

5: Bake for 13 mins at 325 degrees; leave cookies on baking sheet for 5 minutes once you remove them from the oven.
